Technique / Process

Phase 1
A visitor is on a web site that uses SalesPilot.

The customer's clicking behavior is monitored by SalesPilot and analyzed relative to reaching a threshold value indicating the probability of closing a deal.

Depending on availability of a sales consultant, the visitor shall receive further instruction from the Collaboration Server.

The visitor does not respond.
System cancels; the visitor's IP address will be deselected from the analysis for a predefined period.
Phase 2
The visitor accepts or declines.

The visitor declines but receives an offer to come back for help later via a button.

The visitor agreed. This outcome will cause the visitor's IP address to be passed on to the Collaboration Server, whilst the visitor automatically transfers to the Collaboration Server’s URL, where an available sales consultant’s IP address is synchronized with the visitor’s. A video connection will be established, allowing the consultant to greet the visitor from a ‘chat’ window.

Within the chat window, the consultant invites the visitor to enter his or her phone number into a suitable field provided.

The visitor declines; communication continues via chat.

The visitor agrees, entering a phone number into the entry field as instructed by the consultant. This number is passed to a telephony server, instantly establishing a connection between the visitor’s phone and the sales consultant’s IP address.
Phase 3
Based on Content Pushing, the Collaboration Server will now be able to administrate Web content both for the visitor and the sales consultant. A focused sales conversion will be supplemented with text based chat or a phone call.

A sale can now be closed either jointly by the consultant and the visitor or by the visitor only.

The visitor closes the sale on its own. As long as the visitor remains on the Collaboration Server’s URL, it is possible to clearly assign the closed deal to the contribution of SalesPilot.
